Over the last few weeks, we've been discussing a nefarious group called "the elite", making observations about its collective impact on humanity and the traits and habits of its members. For example, we said or implied that the elite have far more wealth and power than they know how to use properly; that they tirelessly seek to control the lives of everybody else, including many people of equal or greater intelligence who could do as well or better without them; that they grudgingly pool their influence and even practice a closed form of eugenics in order to obtain tremendous long-term advantages over the rest of humanity, and so on. But do these observations suffice as a definition?
