While it may be a great way to lose weight, one meal a day is not appropriate for certain categories of people, including children, teenagers, elderly people, pregnant women, and people suffering from eating disorders. In addition, this type of diet may lead to disordered eating and can significantly negatively impact a person's social life. However, for the well-balanced intermittent fasting (IF) enthusiast, OMAD may be an interesting path to weight loss and wellness, at least in the short term.
