What Are Schumann Resonances?
Schumann resonances are electromagnetic waves in the natural cavity formed by a planet's (or moon's) surface and its ionosphere. They are in the extremely low frequency (ELF) range and are caused by the natural electrical activity of the planetary or lunar surface and/or atmosphere. They occur on every planet in the Solar System and have a variety of interesting properties.
